A South Kilkenny Councillor has expressed his disappointment with the decision by Waterford City and County Council to pursue a judicial review into the Ferrybank Shopping Centre.
The local authority notified its neighbouring counterpart that it would seek a review to the recent granting of conditional permission to Dunnes Stores to open a store at the largely vacant premises.

That had been appealed by Waterford City & County Council to An Coimisiún Pleanála due to the scale involved, but that appeal was deemed invalid.
Now however it’s being challenged again and Cllr Ger Frisby lamented the potential legal action when KCLR News’ reporter Dermot Keyes caught up with him at the Piltown Municipal District Meeting;
