A local youth training service has celebrated their 40th anniversary.
Carlow Youth Training Centre opened its doors in 1985, with student and staff from both past and present coming together today to celebrate the milestone.
The service caters for 16 to 21 year olds offering courses in Fitness, Catering, Beauty, Arts and Hairdressing allowing students to further pursue their studeies at 3rd level educational facilities.
The Mayor of Carlow Paul Doogue has described the Carlow Youth Training Centre as a “hidden gem.”
