Gardaí seeking to track movements of vehicle believed involved in recent spate of thefts and attempted thefts of cars in Kilkenny

Gardaí are continuing their bid to track down those responsible for a spate of thefts and attempted thefts of cars from county Kilkenny.

Six were targeted by at least three men between 4 and 6am last Friday morning in Gowran & Thomastown sparking a chase by Gardaí for a time.

The two taken were later found – the Fiat 500 nearby with the Kia Sorento in Athy, Co Kildare – also discovered abandoned with that was another car as Sgt PJ Griffin outlines;
