Carlow and Kilkenny gearing up for tonight’s Late Late Toy Show

We’re not sure if it’s the children or the adults of Carlow and Kilkenny who are most looking forward to tonight’s Late Late Toy Show.

A number of locals will be showcasing their talents with the rest of us tucking into treat boxes while curled up watching at home.

The studio has been taken over by the Grinch this year, transformed into Who-ville for the annual offering which is being held on the 50th anniversary of Gay Byrne’s introduction of the idea as a segment on a regular episode.

Patrick Kielty is hosting for his third time, and says it never gets easier to prepare.
