The ground is glistening in parts of Carlow and Kilkenny as both counties remain under the latest cold weather warning.
The second in two days took effect last evening and continues to 11am this morning.

While many routes appear to have been gritted yet again by local authority crews, it’s icy in spots especially on the smaller roads.
Motorists are advised to take extra care if heading out.
