Carlow and Kilkenny could be impacted by weather warning for neighbouring counties

Another day and another weather warning it seems.

This time Met Éireann’s notice is for Wexford and Waterford as well as Cork and Kerry.

It takes effect from midday as Storm Goretti approaches and runs to 8 o’clock tonight (Thursday).

But Carlow and Kilkenny could be impacted so care’s advised.

Cathal Nolan from Ireland’s Weather Channel says there’s a chance of spot flooding – and a risk of showers turning to sleet and snow on higher ground.
