A local woman says her dog is home again after needing treatment following an alleged attack by other dogs in Carlow town.

The incident seemingly happened on Wednesday as Kotrina with her partner and their young child walked two family pets along the Athy Road – she outlined details on social media;

It comes as Gardaí earlier warned dog owners to keep their pets under control in a bid to prevent attacks on livestock.
