Kilkenny city looks set to get 85 new homes as plans progress.
Councillors of the municipal district at their monthly meeting last Friday were given an update to the 80-unit mixed housing scheme which is to be developed at Kilcreene / Drakelands Lower, while five further age and disability friendly homes will be built at Loughboy Park.
While welcoming both projects, Labour representative Sean Ó hArgáin said there’s still a long way to go when it comes to a radical reduction in Kilkenny’s housing list as he outlined to KCLR News’ Dermot Keyes;
