Two men arrested following Operation Thor searches in Carlow and Dublin

Two men have been arrested following searches under Operation Thor in Carlow and Dublin.

There’s been an ongoing investigation into a number of incidents in the Capital and across the country last year spanning over 40 incidents including thefts, deception and unauthorised takings of vehicles.

Five properties in Carlow and Dublin areas have been searched with Gardaí yesterday arresting two men, both aged in their twenties.

They’ve been detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007, at a garda station in Dublin while investigations continue.
