Man seriously injured after being hit by a bus in county Wicklow

A man’s in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a bus in County Wicklow yesterday evening.

It happened on Station Road in Bray shortly before 6pm.

The pedestrian who’s aged in his eighties was taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin.

The road remains closed this morning awaiting the arrival of forensic collision investigators as Bray Gardaí­ are appealing for any witnesses to make contact with them.
