Carlow man who sparked town twinning of Tullow and a Spanish municipality

The Carlow man who sparked the twinning of Tullow with a town in Spain says it’s about more than signage. 

The link-up with the north-eastern municipality of María de Huerva and our locality will be formally marked here in the coming weeks, and will create a new Irish/Spanish relationship.

Ballinabranna native Noel Hughes who lives in the Spanish Town was the person who approached the local authority here about the twinning and he outlined why on The KCLR Daily;
