Funeral takes place today of former Kilkenny Editor and Publisher

The funeral takes place today of a well-known former local business man.

John Kerry Keane was at the helm of the Kilkenny People Newspaper for four decades as owner and Editor and was well regarded by colleagues and the general public.

A husband, father of four and Grandfather of eight, he died last Friday (13th March) and today many are set to gather from 12 noon at the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown for a Mass to celebrate his life which will be followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.
