Dolores Keane “had something really special” says Kilkenny based singer & songwriter Mick Hanly

A world renowned, Kilkenny based singer and songwriter has described Dolores Keane as somebody who “had something really special”.

Mick Hanly, who lives in Thomastown, crossed paths with the traditional Irish folk singer and founder of De Dannan who died at her Galway home aged 72.

She also sang with him on a track he’d penned “My Love is in America” as he outlined on The KCLR Daily;
