Tullow today sees its revamped Aldi open its doors.
It had closed for the upgrade and expansion which cost in the region of €1.3million and comes as the outlet’s set to mark its 20th birthday next year.
Its new-look boasts wide aisles and high spec fixtures and fittings with six self-service checkouts and an in-store bakery.
21 people are employed full time there.
Store Manager Aoife Ennis says; “We’ve been proud to serve the people of Tullow for nearly two decades and today marks an exciting new chapter. We are delighted to reopen our doors and unveil these fantastic upgrades. From our brand-new in-store bakery and self-service checkouts to a larger store with wider aisles, everything has been designed to make shopping faster, easier, and more enjoyable for our loyal local customers.”
She adds; “At ALDI, it’s not complicated. Shoppers in Tullow, and right across the country, get the best quality products, the best value and an easy shopping experience when they visit our stores.”
