The Funeral will take place in Kilkenny today of the local woman killed at her home in Australia last month.
30-year-old Annmarie O’Reilly was discovered when emergency services were called to a house on Ferntree, Gully Road, Melbourne on the 18th of August.
The mother of three, who’s originally from St. Mary’s Crescent on the Hebron Road in our local city, had suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man aged in his forties, who’s understood to also be Irish and known to Ms O’Reilly, has been charged with her murder and remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court next February.
A large crowd’s expected for Annmarie’s Funeral which takes place at 10:30am this morning in St John’s Church after which she’ll be laid to rest in nearby St Kieran’s Cemetery. (Notice and Condolences link available via RIP.ie).
