Shock locally following death of man in Carlow workplace incident

A man in his 50s has died following a workplace accident in Carlow this morning.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at Netwatch Cullen Park around half past ten, where the man was pronounced dead.

The Health and Safety Authority is investigating and is at the scene alongside Gardaí.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out, and a file is being prepared for the Coroner’s Court.
