Cat Dowling was born in South Kilkenny but attended school in Waterford. Although coming from a somewhat academic family background and attending college herself she never felt truly engaged and felt that her creative side was calling to her strongly.
Since then she has made her name as a songwriter and singer, producing two acclaimed albums with her band Alphsatates before producing her debut album “The Believer” in 2013 which has impressed her audience and recently was voted number 3 in the top albums of the year by the Sunday Times.
