Kilkenny and Carlow motorists urged to slow down this Bank Holiday

Motorists in Carlow and Kilkenny are being asked to slow down this bank holiday.

County Councils, the RSA and Gardaí across the country are urging people to take it easy on the roads today.

Speaking to KCLR, Road Safety Officer with Carlow County Council, John McDarby says we also need to remember that children are on their school holidays and we therefore need to slow down substantially in residential areas where they may be playing.
