400 new college places at IT Carlow from September

Hundreds of extra college places are being made available at IT Carlow specifically for job-seekers.

The 2015 Springboard programme launched today and this year there will be 400 places at IT Carlow in a range of courses including social media, financial services and tourism.

Each of the courses will start from next September.

Head of Lifelong learning at IT Carlow Joe Collins says there will be a work placement element to all of the courses.
