People from the legal profession are gathering in Kilkenny this weekend for the Annual conference of the Bar Council of Ireland.
The event, which takes place in Lyrath Hotel, will focus primarly on the issue of ‘Trial by Media’.

The theme is extremely relevant as it has just been announced that England and Wales will soon allow TV cameras into crown courts for the first time as part of a pilot scheme by the Ministry of Justice in the UK.
