Almost 50 percent of fire cases in county Carlow in 2014 were attended to within 10 minutes while in Kilkenny the number is a lot lower at 23.6 percent.
That’s according to figures released to the local authorities recently.
This information was released through a report from the National Oversight and Audit Commission (NOAC) dated December 2015 – on performance indicators in Local Authorities.
The report shows that the percentage of fire cases attended to within 10 minutes in Carlow was 44.91 percent. The figure from Kilkenny is a lot lower at 23.6 percent.
The report also shows that the percentage of fire cases in county Carlow that took between 10 and 20 minutes to attend was 44.53 percentage. While in Kilkenny they were at 56.4 percent.
