The number of jobs created in Carlow and Kilkenny through the Local Enterprise Office in 2014 has been revealed.
It’s a combined total of 314 jobs in the 12 month period from January – December 2014.
186.5 jobs were created in Carlow through the Local Enterprise Office in 2014, while the number in Kilkenny is slightly lower at 128.
These figures are contained in a report issued to the local authorities recently.
Local enterprise offices in Carlow and Kilkenny are for people interested in starting up a new business or already in business including; entrepreneurs, early stage promoters, start-ups and small business looking to expand.
the highest number of jobs created through the Local Enterprise Office was Dublin city with 435.5.
A total of 3, 478.50 jobs were created in total nationwide.
