Work has finally got under way on Killarney Bridge in Thomastown.
A car crashed into the bridge back in January, leaving a massive hole that was left unrepaired for a number of months.

Irish Rail previously told KCLR the works were delayed because of sodden ground and issues with accessing land to avoid a road closure.
Works will be completed in the next few days and the company is hopeful repairs won’t impact on traffic in the Thomastown area.
