A Carlow based start-up company has scooped a gold award at the Bank of Ireland startup awards.
Cyc-lok were nominated in the Best Sustainable Startup category.
Cyc-lok was established in 2014 to develop a Europe-wide and, later, global network of secure bicycle parking facilities.
Stephen and Louise Murphy, who set up cyc-lok scooped the award for Best Sustainable Startup at the Bank of Ireland startup awards.
The company is based on Sleaty Road in Carlow town.
There were 12 categories in the competition this year including tech, retail and product and innovation.
The BOI Startup awards were established to recognise innovative, successful and aspiration companies who launched in the last three years.
