Locals in the Galmoy area of County Kilkenny are being reminded that a boil water notice is in place.
Over 100 houses are affected by the notice, over fears the water could be contaminated.
Irish Water and Kilkenny county council made the call on Friday afternoon – following advice from the HSE.
Those on the Galmoy Replacement Water Supply Scheme and the Galmoy Group Water Scheme are effected.
Irish Water has confirmed to KCLR news today that the notice remains in place for the time being – and it’s not yet known when it will be lifted.
