There’s been a stabbing in Kilkenny City centre this afternoon.
A man has been stabbed in the Market Cross shopping centre just before 3pm in what appears to have been an unproved attack.

Eyewitnesses are telling KCLR news that the victim was walking his dog at the time.
A suspect is in custody. Gardai chased a man down Parliament Street where he was caught and arrested.
It is not known yet what the condition of the victim is but bystanders are reporting that he received head injuries.
