‘admin’ has replaced ‘123456’ as the most popular password in Ireland.

‘Abdel123’, with a capital A, ‘westwood’ ‘ismellpennys’ and ‘abdel123’ with a small ‘a’ complete the top five.

The research by NordPass, shows password strength could improve across all generations, with older people more likely to use names, and Gen Z more likely to choose a combination of numbers.
