Nearly half of school principals are experiencing burnout.
That’s according to a joint study by the NAPD and the Irish Primary Principals Network.
The research found it’s nearly double the rate of the average healthy working population.
It comes ahead of their Annual Conference today in Galway.
Anton O’Mahoney, President of the association says the reason for this is because they are being over-burdened: We are over burdened and over worked with admin duties.”
