Anti Water Charge activist MacLiam to run in bye-election

Conor Mac Liam will be contesting the upcoming bye-election.
The anti-water charge activist will be running for the Anti-Austerity Alliance.
He’s made the announcement his afternoon after a ”We won’t Pay” meeting last night attended by Socialist TD Paul Murphy.
He’s the fourth candidate to officially join the race to fill the Dail seat vacated by EU Commissioner Phil Hogan.
Bobby Aylward was officially selected by Fianna Fail last night while Kilkenny Councillor Kathleen Funchion is running for Sinn Fein and Adrienne Wallace is the candidate for People before Profit.
