Investigations are continuing into an alleged assault in Kilkenny city over the weekend.
Gardaí attended a scene on The Parade in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A spokesperson’s told KCLR News that a man aged in his thirties was taken to St Luke’s Hospital.
Investigators are calling on anybody who was in the area at the time and who witnessed what happened to contact them.
