The GAA’s deal with Sky to allow certain matches to be shown exclusively by them, is once again coming in for criticism.
Carlow Councillor Walter Lacey says it’s completely unfair on many older people who don’t have Sky installed and wouldn’t have the means to pay for it.
The Dublin / Donegal and Mayo / Tyrone games at the weekend were not shown on any of the Saorview channels.
Councillor Lacey says it’s preventing many older inter-county hurling and football veterans from watching the games.
