Gardaí in Carlow are working to trace the driver of a jeep involved in a hit and run at the weekend.
A father and daughter were injured in the incident which happened in the Urglin area of Rutland shortly before 8.30 on Saturday night.
The 59-year-old man was taken to hospital with a broken leg while his 23-year-old daughter suffered minor injuries.
Divisional Road Traffic Inspector, Anthony Farrell, says they are working with locals to try and track down who is responsible.
