Excitement continues to build across Carlow as the county’s senior ladies footballers prepare for their historic All-Ireland Final appearance next month.
The Carlow LGFA County Board has announced an open training session for supporters this Sunday at Milford GAA Grounds, giving fans the chance to get behind the squad ahead of their Croke Park showdown with Antrim on Saturday, August 2nd.
The event gets underway at 9am, with supporters encouraged to come along, meet the players and help create a buzz around the team as they continue their preparations.
Carlow booked their place in the All-Ireland Final after a superb semi-final victory over Derry, extending their remarkable unbeaten run this season. The win also secured the county’s first-ever appearance in an All-Ireland Ladies Football Final at Croke Park.
With anticipation continuing to grow, Sunday’s open training session offers supporters the perfect opportunity to show their backing before Ed Burke’s side bid to make even more history on the biggest stage of all.
