Saoirse Ronan has picked up an award for her performance in ‘The Outrun’.
She won the Actress Film/Television prize at the BAFTA Scotland award ceremony last night.

The Ardattin native wasn’t there to receive the trophy in person, but her friend and fellow nominee, Izuka Hoyle, shared a message on her behalf.
In it, Saoirse praised the “incredible team effort” that went into the film, and thanked locals in Orkney, where the movie is set.
