If you have a few hours spare a week and want to help sick children, there’s a group looking for you.
The Children in Hospital Group Ireland are looking for volunteers over 18 years of age to spend two to three hours a week playing with sick children in St Luke’s Hospital.
They’re having an information evening today which gets underway at 6 o’clock and to register to attend you need to ring 01 2903510.
Maura Lavelle from the group says the children benefit hugely from having someone to play with.
