Coins stolen from a safe during a burglary in South Kilkenny

Gardaí in Mooncoin are seeking information on two males seen leaving a business premises in South Kilkenny.

A burglary occurred at a property in the Mullinavat area between Midnight on Wednesday and 8am Thursday morning.

Sgt. Eddie Brennan has these details on the incident…

“It would appear that two males entered the premises and were able to gain access without force on their way into the premises.  A quantity of coin was taken from a safe in the premises.”

“Just in enquiring , if there’s anyone that might have been in that area, during the night they might have been passing through Mullinavat from the 10th into the 11th of December, or neighbours that might have heard something.”
