A cyclist, injured in a crash in Waterford City last weekend, has died in hospital.
The collision, involving a car and an e-bike happened on the Cork Road at about 7.45 last Saturday evening.
The cyclist, an 18-year-old man, was taken to University Hospital Waterford with serious injures – and has since passed away.
The local Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
Gardai are renewing their appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash or has camera footage from the scene to come forward.
