The second last round of Minor Football A Championship action took place in Carlow last night with Eire Og, Palatine and Rathvilly looking good for semi final places with Michael Davitts hoping to get the fourth place.

The final round is on Monday evening.

The results were….
Eire Og 1-14, Michael Davitts 1-2
Rathvilly 2-15,  Mt. Leinster Rngs 2-2
Fenagh 3-7, St. Andrews 2-7
Palatine 5-10, Tinryland 0-11

O’Hanrahans received a walkover from Kildavin-Clonegal in the junior football ‘B’ championship.

Fixtures

The intermediate football championship games involving the Fighting Cocks, Ballon and Kilbride three teams from the parish of Ballon & Rathoe are off as a mark of respect for the late Donal English-Hayden.

There is only one game on this evening (Friday)

Naomh Eoin and O’Hanrahans meet in the third round of the Intermediate football championship group 1 at Spellman Park Kildavin at 7-00 pm.
