Matt Cardle is putting his pop career on hold – for the West End.
The former X Factor winner has signed up to star in the hit production of Memphis for three months – alongside Beverley Knight.
Matt says he’s ‘thrilled’ to be making his acting debut and he ‘can’t wait’ to get started.
Blur to release own brand of ice cream?
Blur are releasing their own brand of ice cream.
The Vanilla and raspberry dessert is coming out to coincide with their latest album ‘The Magic Whip’.
It will also be sold at their summer comeback concerts, which include the Isle of Wight festival and Hyde Park.
Return Of Whose Line
Whose Line Is It Anyway is coming back – for the first time in 15 years.
The comedy improv show will appear in London’s West End – with host Clive Anderson returning.
It was last seen on UK TV in 1999 – and since then has been a huge hit in the States.

American Idol has been cancelled after 15 seasons.
The show – which used to attract 36 million viewers has since halved its audience – and will come to a close next year.
It’s rumoured Simon Cowell might return to the judging panel for the final series.
New direction for X Factor?
One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson is among the favourites to be a new X Factor judge.
It’s after Simon Cowell apparently confirmed that Louis Walsh is leaving the programme.
The show’s creator tweeted that the pair will “always be friends” and that the “door remains open and who knows what’s next…”
Louis Walsh is reportedly being lined up for a job on Ireland’s Got Talent.
Big box office for new Avengers movie
“Avengers: Age of Ultron” looks like it will end up taking over 1 billion U.S. dollars at the box office.
The Superhero sequel, based on the iconic Marvel characters, took another 77 million in ticket sales in the United States and Canada this weekend.
That puts its total figure at 875 million in barely three weeks.
Norton, Rea amongst BAFTA winners
Graham Norton and Irish actor Stephen Rea have both won awards at the TV BAFTAs.
Norton won best comedy entertainment programme for his chat show, while Stephen Rea was awarded best supporting actor for his role in the Honourable Woman.
Best actor was won by Jason Watkins for The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies.
And Georgina Campbell won best the actress trophy for her role in Murdered By My Boyfriend.
