Gardaí appeal for witnesses as a number of cars go up in smoke in Bennettsbridge

Gardaí are looking for witnesses to a blaze in Bennettsbridge this morning.

A number of cars were on fire near the entrance to the quarry at Sheestown at around 6am and four units of Kilkenny Fire Service were called to deal with it.

No-one was injured in the incident but the scene has been cordoned off by Gardaí.
