Gardaí are investigating the assault and robbery of a vulnerable man in Waterford

Gardaí in Waterford are investigating the assault and robbery of a vulnerable man in the city last week.

The man, who is non-verbal, was attacked on the Folly last Thursday night between 10:10pm and 10.30pm.

Over 200 euro in cash, an iPhone, and a wallet were stolen.

Waterford Garda Station is appealing for information on the assailant.
