Gardaí investigating alleged assault in Carlow Town over the weekend

One person was allegedly assaulted in Carlow Town over the weekend.

Gardaí say it happened late on Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The confirmation follows queries from KCLR News around claims a scene was cordoned off in the Hanover Park area yesterday.

Investigations are ongoing.
