Gardaí working with South East Technological University following suspected cyber attack affecting their Waterford campus

Gardaí­ are working with the South East Technological University following a suspected cyber attack impacting its students in Waterford.

All classes at SETU’s Waterford campus were seemingly cut short on Friday and cancelled again today – with an update for students expected later.

Its Carlow and Wexford campuses are operating as normal.

Preliminary enquiries are ongoing and Gardaí­ say they’re working alongside the institution concerning the matter.
