“It’s disgraceful” that a “prime tourist attraction” has been vandalised – according to a local councillor.
Carlow’s Mayor Fintan Phelan was speaking as graffiti has appeared on some walls of the castle over the past few weeks.
He’s suggested that measures should be put in place to protect the historical site from anti-social behaviour like this.
Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor Phelan says it’s also important that the lights that were there are fixed.
