House burgled in Carlow with cash and jewellery taken

Cash and jewellery have been taken from a home in Carlow following a burglary.

It’s believed somebody gained entry to the property in Rathvilly village on Wednesday.

Entry was forced through a backdoor which had glass smashed

Sgt Eddie Brennan has this appeal, “So there may have been people in the Station Road area of Rathvilly and Gardai in Carlow are investigating there.  So any information, CCTV or dash cam footage, could you please contact Carlow Garda Station on 059 9136620.”
