Kilkenny councillors hit back at comments by Senator Malcolm Noonan regarding decision on Abbey Quarter site

Two Kilkenny Councillors have hit out at comments by Senator Malcolm Noonan with regard to the Abbey Quarter site.

On The KCLR Daily the locally based Green Party representative outlined how public consultation should have been sought on the city site’s Masterplan before the local authority decided to take out a €24m loan to buy back a section.

A short time later on the same programme, Cllrs David Fitzgerald of Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil’s Deirdre Cullen said they were confused by the comments;
