Kilkenny County Council won’t be replacing or replicating a suspension bridge at Talbot’s Inch but do have plans for one nearby.
Built by Lady Desart in 1906, the structure was washed away in 1947.
Last week, KCLR News outlined pleas by city resident Liam Heffernan for its remnants to be removed and for a similar structure spanning the River Nore there to be installed.
