A mans been injured following an assault in Callan last night.
It happened at approximately 10:50 pm at a premises in the town.
One man aged in his 30s was brought to South Tipperary General Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
It’s understood part of his ear was removed in the incident.
Members of the Armed Response Unit attended last night.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
