More than 1,000 schoolgirls are expected to attend SETU’s Women in Technology event in Waterford today.
Its aim is to encourage more young women to consider careers in technology where female participation remains low.
Students aged 14 to 16 will hear from keynote speakers including Olympian and tech expert Phil Healy who has successfully combined elite sport with a career as a Software Developer at Sun Life.
