Naomh Bríd know they have a huge opportunity to reach the JJ Kavanagh Carlow Senior Hurling Championship semi-finals when they face Naomh Eoin next Saturday.
Kieran Delaney’s side must win in Fenagh and hope St Mullins defeat Bagenalstown Gaels in the other game to secure their place in the last four.
Both games throw in at 6pm, with St Mullins against Bagenalstown Gaels live on KCLR, while you can hear Naomh Bríd versus Naomh Eoin live on KCLR Plus, thanks to Dan Morrissey & Co.
Delaney says his side are treating the game as a knockout encounter, while injuries remain a concern.
“It’s kind of a knockout game as such. We will prepare as best we can, look after the injuries.
“We lost Tadhg O’Neill with a hamstring injury. But young Ruarc O’Neill, only after doing the Leaving Cert and after partying across Europe for the last few weeks, did the job!
“We will give it a right good rattle next Saturday.”
With both games taking place simultaneously, there is plenty at stake in the final round of the Carlow Senior Hurling Championship as Naomh Bríd look to keep their semi-final hopes alive.
